Policy and market options was founded in 2011 but formally registered in 2014. Policy and Market Options employs a Value Chains/markets development approach aimed at building the capacity of communities to access markets including linkages for ICT solutions to address value chain contraints... We also work in policy review and development.
We believe that markets and the right policies hold the key to reducing poverty and have a long term perspective to development which is what clearly leaves a mark with the communities we work with, bringing about shared value.

DSM, Nutrition and SNV Milk Fortification Project July 2013 - August 2015

Providing management support for a dairy fortification project working with Local dairy processors including Kinangop dairy limited and Meru Central Cooperative Union. Tasks include working with dairy processors to develop road map to fortified products including product identification and development and developing marketing strategies. Working with other partners to education programs for communities and Liaising with the Ministry of Health to develop Standards on fortified milk. 

Fair Trade Africa and Shared Interest Society July 2013 - December 2013

Financial management training for Fair-trade certified Producer organizations (Coffee and tea cooperatives), coaching and mentorship for select producer organizations towards financial compliance including support to developing profit and loss statements, budgets, cash flow statements and business plans for loan access from Shared Interest Society.
