
The overall focus of the Strategic Sector Cooperation (SSC) Program for Food is food safety, improved quality, value addition and capacity building of the dairy and horticulture sectors with emphasis on control of residues and certain contaminants. We are working in both the horticulture and dairy components of the program. In horticulture we are working closely with the Nyandarua County Government and various competent authorities including KEPHIS, PCPB and HCD to address SPS and food safety issues in the value chain.
